I’ve been doing photography for over six years, but what truly reignited my passion was a trip back to Guadalajara — my homeland — after years of not being able to go. Capturing the color, culture, and everyday moments of where I come from reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place. As a DACA recipient, that experience was life-changing — a reminder that art can bridge identity, belonging, and home.
